About the event
This will be an 8 hour course teaching different techniques to protect yourself from an armed or unarmed threat. This course will be a physically intensive course and students should come prepared for it. We will be covering standing techniques as well as ground techniques to include live scenarios. Students should make the instructors aware of any preexisting injuries and should bring the below listed items.
- mouth guard
- water & lunch
- identification for sign in
The course objectives will be as followed:
- Situational awareness
- Standing / ground techniques while dealing with armed / unarmed threats
- Scenarios to demonstrate techniques learned
