About the event
This will be a two day course centered on familiarization with NVGs, conducting live fire drills on the range, and force on force drills/scenarios. We will focus on proper identification and decision making while working in a team based environment.
Our goal during these two days is to help SWAT members have a better understanding of how to set up and use their equipment, work in a team based environment while methodically clearing a structure, and be presented with several force on force drills/scenarios which will force them to make quick decisions in a contextually relevant environment.
Objectives:
Equipment set up and considerations
Firearms fundamentals (Hold over, white light/IR, position, movement)
CQC fundamentals (Threshold assessments, none verbal communication, room entries,)
