About the event

The Functional Pistol course is an 8 hour shooting course geared towards strengthening the individual shooters basics and making them a more well-rounded shooter. This course will break down each shooting fundamental step by step and the shooter will conduct several drills focused on enhancing each one. The shooter will also be conducting these drills in both strong handed positions and support handed positions as well as participating in stress drills to test individual ability. During this course the student will
- Identify and break down shooting fundamentals
- Conduct basics in strong hand and support hand positions
- Identify different types of reloads and malfunctions
- Enhance speed and accuracy of follow up shots through structured drills
Required Gear:
• Large to Medium handgun
• 3 magazines
• Belt with holster and a way to carry magazines
• Lunch
• Eye protection & Hearing protection
• (Recommended) Sun screen
• 600 rounds
