About the event
The goal of this 8-hour course is not to bring SWAT tactics to Patrol but rather give sound tactics and concepts to Officers/Deputies that they can bring back to their shifts and partners to make them safer while clearing structures. This will be a fluid class so plan for a working lunch.
Objectives:
- Identify an approach and how to read structures
- Identify threat priorities
- Fundamentals of close quarters clearance
- Communication and planning while clearing structures
- 2 - 3 person clearing techniques
- Force on force drills
Required equipment:
- UTM pistol (if you don't have one it will be provided)
- 30 rounds of 9mm and 20 5.56 UTM rounds (The ticket cost covers the required ammo. If you are supplying your own ammo email us for a discount code prior to purchase)
- Full face mask and glasses (paintball mask is acceptable)
- Face covering (COVID19 protocols)
- Lunch/hydration
- Work attire (gun belt and vest)
