CQC for Patrol 2 Low Light ( Hosted by Secaucus NJ Police PBA Local 84)

The goal of this 8-hour course is not to bring SWAT tactics to Patrol but rather give sound tactics and concepts to Officers/Deputies that they can bring back to their shifts and partners to make them safer while clearing structures. This will be a fluid class so plan for a working lunch. This class is a follow up class from CQC for Patrol so plan on reviewing CQC techniques taught there. Because this is a follow up courses we will be focusing on applying those aforementioned techniques in a low light setting and spending a lot of time in the shoot house conducting NLTA training.

Prerequisite: Must have attended CQC for Patrol

Objectives:

• Equipment choice and considerations
• low light techniques for CQC
• Overview of CQC techniques
• 2-3 person movements for CQC
• Force on force drills

Required equipment:

• UTM pistol (if you don't have one it will be provided)
• 30 rounds of 9mm and 20 5.56 UTM rounds (The ticket cost covers the required ammo.)
• Eye protection
• Face covering (COVID19 protocols recommended)
• Lunch/hydration (bring lunch)
• Work attire (gun belt and vest)
• Rifle (UTM bolt will be provided)
• Handheld flashlight and weapon mounted light
