About the event
This course will work you through several areas intended to enhance your skillset beyond the basics. This is not a basic pistol course and is not recommended for beginner-level shooters. This course will require you to be active and move into several positions to include kneeling, squatting, and prone.
Objectives:
- Core pistol fundamentals
- Positional shooting
- Clearing common malfunctions
- Moving and shooting
- Tourniquet application
- Injured shooter/stress drills
- Qualification
Required gear:
- Mid / full-size handgun
- 3 magazines
- Outside the waistband holster or duty belt and mag holders (NO SERPA HOLSTERS)
- 600 rounds of your pistol ammunition
- Lunch/hydration
- Sunscreen / hat / bug spray
- knee pads (optional)
- eye protection / ear protection
