About the event
This course will be a high pace class with minimal downtime. This class is considered an intermediate-advanced shooting class so please do not register if you are a newer shooter, safety violations on the range are not tolerated and will result in you sitting out for the day. This will also be an active course which will range from physical exercise, going from standing to a prone position, and many other movements so please inform the instructor of any pre-existing medical conditions.
Objectives:
- Gear choice and selection
- Deployment of the pistol from concealment
- Pistol fundamental overview
- Positional work / odd angles of cover
- Moving and shooting
- Proper Tourniquet application
- Stress drills
- Qualification
Required gear:
- Pistol
- 3 magazines
- Kydex holster (foam and leather holsters are not allowed)
- 500 rounds of ammunition
- Ear/eye protection
- Bug repellant/ sunscreen recommended
- Hydration and lunch recommended
