About the event

  

This will be an 8 hour rifle / pistol course of fundamental realisitic training fully focused on job specific tasks. This course is taught by a current leo/swat member with the focus being to bring current practices to active law enforcment members. 

   

Objectives: 

  • Core fundamentals 
  • Overview of common malfunctions
  • Proper use of cover
  • Positional work
  • Room entry fundamental drills
  • Transitions
  • Discretionary shooting / stress shooting 

   

The following will be required gear:

  1. Semi-auto rifle 
  2. Mid/full size pistol
  3. outside the waist band holster (preferably Safariland or kydex) NO BLACKHAWKS 
  4. Sling 
  5. 3 magazines (of pistol and rifle)
  6. 300 rounds of rifle ammunition and 300 rounds of pistol ammunition 
  7. Eye / ear protection / face covering 
  8. hydration 
  9. sunscreen / bug repellent / lunch
